The best way to ensure you stay fat and miserable forever is to refuse to accept that thoughts create feelings.
Thoughts DO create feelings.
YOUR thoughts create YOUR feelings.
Your feelings come from your thoughts.
You can’t have a feeling – good or bad – outside the vehicle of thought.
The thought comes first, the feeling comes second.
Thought is the cause, the feeling is the effect.
A sad thought creates the feeling of sadness.
An angry thought creates the feeling of anger.
If there’s anger in you, it means there is angry thinking in you.
If there’s sadness in you, it means there’s sad thinking in you.
The angry thinking causes the angry feelings.
The sad thinking causes the sad feelings.
If there was no angry thinking, they’d be no anger.
If there was no sad thinking, they’d be no sadness.
All you are ever feeling, is thought.
Whatever type of thought is flowing through you is creating corresponding feelings, perfectly matched.
Right now, this is happening to you.
You are not feeling these words on the page, you are not feeling your broken fridge, you are not feeling your tea with the slightly sour milk, you are not feeling your sullen teenager’s loud music, the pile of laundry or your irritating husband. You are feeling your thinking.
YOUR thoughts create YOUR feelings.
Your teenager’s thoughts don’t create your feelings.
Your husband’s thoughts don’t create your feelings.
You can’t feel your teenager’s thoughts .. or your husband’s.
Your thoughts don’t create your teenager’s feelings.
Your thoughts don’t create your husband’s feelings.
You are responsible for your feelings.
Your teenager is responsible for their feelings.
Your husband is responsible for his feelings.
They are always feeling their thinking, as you are always feeling yours.
You can’t not be feeling something, for even one second.
You can’t not be feeling the effects of your thinking, for even one second.
You are living in the feeling of your thinking.
You don’t live in the feeling of the world, you live in the feeling of your thinking.
So does everybody else.
We all live separately, in the feeling of our own individual thinking.
We all live separately in individual bubbles of our thinking.
None of us can affect one another because we can’t feel one another’s thinking.
Whatever thoughts you have in your bubble right now, are creating your feelings, right now.
In five minutes, whatever thoughts you have in your bubble then will be creating your feelings in that same moment.
If your thoughts change from sad to angry in those five minutes, so will your feelings.
As the thoughts change hue, at the exact same time your feelings change hue.
Your thoughts change on a pin so your feelings also, change on a pin.
Whatever is happening in front of your eyes isn’t forcing feelings onto you, only your thoughts are doing that.
We are all living in separate, thought-created realities.
I am in control of my experience and you are in control of your experience.
I can’t affect you and you can’t affect me.
You can accept you have authority over your reality, take it, and become a conscious creator or said reality.
Or you can get all stubborn and shouty and tell me I’m wrong.
In which case you’ll stay the victim of your own thinking – which veers from bad to negative to depressed and anxious to fearful and very occasionally happy to back to bad again – and you’ll take it all so seriously you’ll stay fat and miserable forever.
