Do you believe your urges to eat are more powerful than you? If yes, then you are never going to win this game. Because the moment an urge pops by for tea, you’ll go into full blown panic mode and will be forced to white-knuckle your way through the temptation which, as I’m sure you’re bored of hearing me say, can only take you so far.

No, there’s only one way to guarantee weight loss and it’s to accept that your urges AREN’T more powerful than you.

Now I understand this could be tricky to take at face value, seeing as you’ve struggled not to give in to them for many, many years, but as luck would have it there is an easy experiment you can do to prove it’s true.

Here goes: when you notice an urge to eat has indeed popped by for a cuppa and a chit chat, I want you to place your attention on the feeling in your body, and then remove your will to act on it by just sitting with the feeling until it goes.

If you do this you will notice two things:

1 You are not giving in to the urge thereby proving to yourself you ARE more powerful than it.

2 The urge fucks off.

Do this, right now if appropriate, and I promise you’ll be free from your food nonsense in two shakes of a lamb’s tail and thin shotly thereafter (which is a nice bonus).
